Our ministry services are generally not covered by insurance plans. True Christian Counseling is the responsibility of the church and Christians in general. God first gave Moses the job and ministry of counseling others, Exodus 18:13-16,20 “And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening. And when Moses; father-in-law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? Why fittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto evening? And Moses said unto his father-in-law, Because the people come unto me to inquire of God: When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws. And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.” Soon afterwards, it was delegated to others at Jethro’s counsel,  Exodus 18:19 “Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:” but Moses was the main person giving counsel about life from God’s perspective on “...great matters”. Exodus 18:22 “And let them judge the people at all season: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.” In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul counseled, also. He continued the ministry of counseling and helping others from God’s Word, Colossians 1:28 “Whom we preach, warning [counseling] every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect [free] in Christ” author’s emphasis.

We operate as a ministry and all our services are reduced compared to traditional counseling. In some cases, we only charge half compared to traditional counseling.

Others have done the following to help pay for counseling when finances were tight:

    1. Asked their church for help or a pastor. Most are earerly willing to help.
    2. Ask a relative or friend
    3. Some employers have paid or helped pay
    4. Use savings or retirement and replace later
    5. Sell items - most people have unwanted items
    6. Work extra or find a second job
    7. Prayed and God met the need
