Creation Therapy is a training program developed by Dr. Richard Arno of Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling and the National Christian Counselors Association (the largest licensing and training agency for Biblical counselors in the world).
In 6-9 short months, you will learn how to help others overcome their problems with a 95% proven success rate. This low-cost (and in most cases tax-deductible) study-at-home course will teach you human behavior from a purely Christian perspective based upon human temperament.
Lay people will receive a Certified Member Certificate of Graduation or Certified Pastoral Member Certificate of Graduation, upon passing the course and completing all requirements. This course will transfer into our degree program and eliminate two courses for the B.A. or M.A. program in Christian Counseling through our Certified Academic Institute.
Developed Through Research
Creation Therapy is a Biblical counseling method based on the belief that man in a uniquely created being rather than the result of an evolutionary process. ("And God said, Let us make man in our image..." Gen. 1:26). This method was developed during seven years of research involving five thousand (5,000) individuals who were seeking help for their problems. Conclusions based on research are that Creation Therapy is over ninety-five percent (95%) successful when administered by a person who has been trained in this Biblical counseling technique.
Why Creation Therapy Works
Creation Therapy works when other counseling methods fail. Why? Because rather than spending session after session in an attempt to correct “symptoms”, the counselor follows a step-by-step counseling procedure developed to “target” the source of the problem(s).
Another reason why Creation Therapy works is because the counselor provides the counselee with a session-by-session plan so they will know, in advance, what to expect at each session. Providing the counselee with a “plan of action” cuts down on cancellations because it removes the fear of the unknown. In addition, it provides an immediate sense of stability and renewed hope that “there is a plan – a course of action has been developed – everything is going to be okay.”

- Members of the S.A.C.C. can administer the A.P.S. to those whom they are counseling and receive a 7-8 page profile on the individual being counseled
- Computer software is available to members. This software reduces the cost for generating an A.P.S. report by 50%.
- Persons who succssfully complete the Creation Therapy course, join the S.A.C.C. and process a minimum of ten (10) Arno Profiles, may qualify to enter in to a program for certification or license in Christian Counseling.
