How to Overcome Problems
Your problems are important to us and to God. No matter the size of your trouble, God sees and knows about every detail of your struggles
It is a fact that everyone faces trouble of some kind (Job14:1-2 “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and ful of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.”), but there are specific steps to take in order to deal with and overcome each and every struggle.
First, accept through a conscious- willful choice that life is full of problems and troubles. God states so in the above verse. Therefore, it is a fact. Psalms 37:40 “And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.” Moreover, God helps us as we consciously choose to face our struggles.
Second, you do not have to face and deal with problems on your own. Hebrews 13:5 states “...I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” God is with us to empower us to face the truth and reality of the situation. Psalms 121:2 states “My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”
Third, the battle is not ours. Second Chronicles 32:7-8 states “Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed... with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles...”
Last, problems and struggles always contain a teachable moment. By opening your heart to God and asking for His help, you will overcome problems quicker than ever.
God delights in helping His children. However, if you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, please consider the following:
- God loves you and sent Jesus to earth to demonstrate His love and to die for all your sins- John 3:16 “For God so loved the Lord that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
- Jesus Christ is the only way to have your sins completely forgiven and it is through the new birth experience- John 3:3 states “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
- Jesus Christ is the only way to have your sins completely forgiven and it is through the new birth experience- John 3:3 states “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Pray this simple prayer: Dear Jesus, I confess I am a sinner and have sinned against you. I repent of my sin and give everything to You! Come into my heart now through the new birth experience. I receive you into my heart to be my person Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name! Amen!
