Nation, Ph.D. My wife and I were honored to travel to the country of Sudan in 2000. As a matter-of fact, Osama Bin Laden was in Sudan at the same time. It was our first experience in Sudan and the poverty was unbelievable. As Christians, we once faced a depraved state of poverty - spiritually - but God brought us out of darkness and into the light of His Son. First Peter 2:9 states, “But ye are a chosen people, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of. Him who hath called you out of darkness into. His marvelous light.” What profound truths God gives us as his children. Our struggles can be over. Our addictiveness can be dealt with and overcome. Negative and sinful habits can be laid to rest and most-of-all victory over every problem can be found. It sounds too good to be true doesn’t it? Maybe, that’s one reason people do not believe it-because it is true. What is true? Freedom! That’s what is true! An example will illustrate. I struggled with, and by God’s grace overcame, sixteen years of depressiveness. God purchased my freedom, I believed His Truth and. He set me free! His Truth can free you, also. John 8:32 states “ And you shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” Believing what God states in. His word about our freedom from addictiveness, depressiveness, negative, and sinful habits as well as any life-dominating problems. It all begins by believing God has “:...called you out of darkness and into his marvelous light.” Because we no longer live in defeat, bondage, anger, hurt, burdens, etc. . , We can believe God’s Truth and. His power removes us out of defeat and into victory. Believe it today and you will experience this new freedom as never before.
